CanDB is a web-based database built for 52nd Solution's client Western Sydney University, tracking the patient journey for people with upper gastrointestinal cancer. It gives the clinical team at Southwest Sydney LHD a single, comprehensive record for each patient, covering timeframes, staging, investigations and protocol compliance to international data standards, plus long-term follow-up on outcomes.

The system is modular and scalable, with separate modules for different diseases and treatments, and is used jointly across Western Sydney University, South Western Sydney LHD and the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD. Despite an unusually complex underlying data set, the clinical team found it straightforward to work with and quick to train new staff on, and it now gives health executives the reporting they need to keep patient care on track.

Suremploy delivers physiotherapy-based pre-employment screening for clients across Australia, including manual-handling workplaces and aged-care providers. 52nd Solution rebuilt their paper-based workflow into a fully digital system with an online questionnaire for physiotherapists, self-service booking for candidates, and a reporting platform that gives clients real-time access to results, including drug-screening. The change has removed constant admin calls and coordination, allowing Suremploy's team to focus on individual clients.
